Corinth was an important Greek city in Biblical
times, located at the crossroads of land and sea trade routes. Paul introduced
Christianity to Corinth in 50-52 A.D. The congregation had difficulty changing
from their pagan past, so Paul had to send them new leaders, write at least
four letters including 1 and 2 Corinthians,
and even visit again himself.
The pictures on this coin, Pegasus and Athena, were typical on Corinthian coins
for hundreds of years. (This coin dates about 450-430 B.C.)

Today the Pegasus, Unicorn, rainbow, and
other symbols are being used by the New Age Movement in their effort to restore
the rule of paganism, occult, and Hinduism throughout the world.
