Snow x Canada Goose (hybrid) Anser caerulescens x Branta canadensis
Notice in this hybrid goose the tan body of the Canada Goose but the white head and neck and orange bill and legs of the Snow Goose. The dark phase of the Snow Goose has a similar neck and head but a black body. I think that this bird has been part of a flock of a thousand Canada Geese for several years. Today it was close enough for good photos.
