Jesus healed a man from Gadara by sending a legion of evil spirits into a herd of pigs. The people of the region were more concerned with their economic loss. They feared the power of Jesus and asked him to leave. The man healed by the miracle was so thankful that he wanted to go with Jesus.

Jesus, however, had important work for him to do: "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you." So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. (Matthew 8: 28-34)

Perhaps Jesus expects us to be as vocal.

This coin was minted in Gadara, one of the ten towns of the Decapolis, at a later date.
