(Proverbs 22:6) The parental influence on Roman Emperor Constantine the Great (307- 337 A.D.) upholds this Biblical promise. His non-believing father refused to join in the persecution of Christians. His mother, Helena, pictured on this coin, was a Christian and passed her faith on to her son Constantine. After he also became a Christian, he declared his Christianity to be the official faith of the empire.
