
This is the courtyard between the Maryam (to left) and Meskel (rear) churches. A large pool is at the gathering of people in the center of the view.

This pool may be used for baptisms. It is coated with green duckweed. The green pool also shows up between the canopies in the most recent satellite photo on the Preservation page.
